1961 - 2019

Jan 8, 2019

Marie Troutman

Marie Troutman, 57, of Dunkirk, NY passed away peacefully at her home after a courageous battle with cancer surrounded by her family on January 5, 2019. She was born in Gowanda, NY in 1961, daughter of the late Robert and Rose Troutman. She is survived by her daughter Morgan Johnson and her granddaughter and best friend, Stella Soto. She is also survived by her brothers Dan (Paula) Troutman, Richie (Jill) Troutman and sister Debbie (Bill) Szymanski and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She worked as a team leader at Nestle Purina for 25 years and loved her work family. She was a member of the Beaver Club, Dom Polski and the Kosciuszko Club. Marie was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer in March 2015 but never let that define her. She lived life to the fullest, caring for her granddaughter, taking trips with the other two muskateers and lighting up any room with her infectious smile. She will be deeply missed. There will be no prior visitation observed. A Celebration of Life will be announced and held at a later date. Marie donated her

body to the University at Buffalo Anatomical Gift Program.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either Roswell Park Cancer Institute or Chautauqua Hospice. The family of Marie Troutman wishes to thank Jim Furman and Adolph Herdzik for selflessly giving of their time in helping Marie.
