Shirley A. (Killock) Tyma, 75, of South Dayton, NY entered peacefully into rest June 5, 2022 at home with family by her side. She was born September 8, 1946 in Gowanda, NY to the late Arthur and Rosina (Martz) Killock.

 Shirley was married to the love of her life Stanley Tyma Jr. on September 28, 1963 in the St John Fisher RC Church.

She was a nurse’s aide at the Chautauqua Home in Dunkirk, NY for many years.

Shirley enjoyed crafts, sewing, camping and especially spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by one son, Stanley A. (Diane) Tyma III of Dunkirk; a daughter, Christine M. Tyma of South Dayton, NY; two grandsons Joshua A. Tyma of Gowanda, NY and Douglas C. Tyma of South Dayton, NY; two granddaughters Richelle L. Tyma of Dunkirk, NY and Jocelyn M. (Derek) Watkins of Newport News, VA; her siblings Peggy Sheldon, Milly (Richard) Blair and Arthur (Angela) Killock also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband of 50 years Stanley Tyma Jr. and her infant daughter Catherine Lynn Tyma.

Relatives and friends may visit DiStasio Funeral Home 478 Route 83 South Dayton, NY at Balcom Corners Saturday June 11, 2022 from 12PM to 1PM where a funeral service will immediately follow.

Interment will be in Villenova Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the South Dayton Fire Department P.O. Box 88 South Dayton, NY
