Hershel J. Twoguns

Hershel J. Twoguns, 58, of Bush Road, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, Sept, 25, 2021.

Born May 6, 1963, into the Turtle Clan of the Six Nation Tuscarora – Seneca tribe the son of Paul Sr. and Christina (Skye) Twoguns.

Hershel retired from the WNYDDSO, where he worked as a job coach .

Survivors include his former wife, Tina Hill; his children: Michele M. Twoguns of Gowanda, Nicole (Charlie Smith) Twoguns of Gowanda, Deanna Germaine of North Collins, Brianna (Les Young) Twoguns of Silver Creek, Kristine Twoguns of Perrysburg, and Jayson Twoguns of Perrysburg . Hershel is also survived by six grandchildren: Justine Twoguns, Zackery, Kaleb, Raelin and Charleigh Smith and Emelia Young . Brother of Paul L. Twoguns of Gowanda, John (Dorothy) Skye of Rochester, Richard (Mary) Elliott, Patricia Hale, Cheryl (Mike) Huff, Karen Twoguns, William Twoguns, James Twoguns and Martin (Irene) Twoguns, all of Gowanda . Several nieces and nephews also survive .

Besides his parents, Hershel was preceded in death by three sisters: Barbara Cooper-Rafalko, Jan-ice E. Smith and Adrianne Lynn Twoguns .

Friends may call at the SCHINDLER FUNERAL HOME, 44 Center St., Gowanda from 2-7 p.m., on Wednesday where funeral services will be held Thursday, Sept. 30, 2021, at 10 a.m. Burial in e Seneca Nation Cemetery with a luncheon to follow.
