Carl married Mary Anne Zuppinger in Buffalo on July 19, 1972.

Surviving besides his wife “Zuppi” of nearly 50 years are their daughters: Amy Kay (Lisa) Witkowski of Fredonia, April (Tracy) Eury of Kannapolis, N.C. and Lacee Sotkowski of Dayton. Carl is also survived by grandchildren: Macie, Dalton, Jazz, Sophia, Gavin and Avery; a sister, Darlene (Dale) Row-land of Orlando, Fla.; along with several nieces and nephews .

”I say what I mean and I mean what I say” was a mantra Carl lived by.

Friends may call Thursday from 4-7 p.m., at the SCHINDLER FUNERAL HOME, 44 Center St., Gowanda, where funeral services will be held Friday March 25. 2022, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Michael Nace officiating.
