Clifford W. Lincoln

Clifford W. Lincoln, 71, of Gowanda, formerly of Cherry Creek, passed away Dec. 21, 2020, at Brooks Memorial Hospital.

He was born Oct. 12, 1949, in Buffalo, N.Y., the son of Clifford O and Ruth Wimber Lincoln.

Clifford graduated from Pine Valley Central School in 1967. He went on to graduate from the Technical College at Alfred in 1969. After graduating college Clifford proudly served his country from 1969-71 in the U.S. Army. Upon his honorable discharge from the U.S. Army Clifford worked for Falconer Glass and WNY DDSO. Cliff served his community as a fireman for the Cherry Creek VFD.

Clifford is survived by his wife, Charleen P Lincoln; his daughter, Amy (Alax) McMahon; his grandchildren, Noah and Lydia; his stepsons: Wallace (Anna) Ward of Irving, N.Y., and Timothy Ward of Ohio; his step grandchildren: Heather Ward and Brian Ward; his step great-granddaughter, Lailynne; his sister, Elizabeth (J David) Kent; his brothers: Andrew (Marie) Lincoln of Georgetown, Texas and David Lincoln of Dunkirk; and his uncle, Ward Lincoln. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Clifford is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Richard Lincoln in 1980.
