Sharee Rene Allen, 62, of Dayton, N.Y., entered into rest June 20, 2022, at Bertrand Chaffee Hospital in Springville, N.Y.

She was born March 6, 1960, at Tri County Memorial Hospital in Gowanda, N.Y., to the late Richard L. Allen and Lindalee (Greeley) Allen.

Sharee was a graduate of Pine Valley Central School class of 1978. After graduation she worked with her father at Montgomery Wards Stores in East Aurora and Angola, N.Y. Then she delivered papers for The Dunkirk Observer newspaper and worked for Carrier Coach out of Gowanda, N.Y., as a bus driver until her retirement.

Sharee was the 1978 Queen of the South Dayton Fire Department. She bowled for many years and enjoyed crafts, watching and feeding birds and loved her four cats

She is survived by her mother, Lindalee (Greely) Allen; her brother, Kevin Eric (Sue Young); her step-sister, Wynette Duck; her nephew, Richard J. Allen (Kattie); her step niece, Isabelle Duck; and a cousin, Michelle (Gabel) Barlow.

Sharee was predeceased by her father, Richard Lawrence Allen; step mother, Lois (Scott) Allen; maternal grandparents, Earl and Autumn Greeley; her paternal grandparents, Lawrence and Ruth Allen; a son, Freeman Easterly: her daughter, Kimberlee Allen; her aunt and uncle, Joyce (Greeley) Paul Taft, her uncle, Richard Greeley; and cousin, Dean Gabel Jr.

She leaves behind several close friends that helped her during her time of need. She will be missed by all.

Relatives and friends may visit DiStasio Funeral Home, 478 Route 83 South Dayton at Balcom Corners Friday, July 1 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., where a funeral service will immediately follow.

Interment will be in Jolls Cemetery, Perrysburg, N.Y.
