The Square - This is Gowanda Square sometime after 1913 (the year the Bank of Gowanda, center, is built). On the left is The Crawford hotel (it burned in 1927). The Square is a popular gathering place during events including concerts by Gowanda's Hi Henry, the famous minstrel man.
