FRANKLINVILLE — Gowanda lost to Franklinville, 42-36, in the opening wrestling match of the season for both teams.

At 182 pounds, Joe Steffan of Gowanda pinned Jack Bushnell of Franklinville. Ethan Fort of Gowanda also won by pin at 126 pounds and Dakota Olson had a pin at 195 pounds.
